Our Design Process
The Discovery Process
All services begin with a Discovery Form and then a Discovery Call. During that call, we’ll discuss your budget, timeline, and vision to determine whether we should work together.
The Consultation
Once we’ve initiated our partnership, We’ll provide an onsite consultation of your space. During this time, Virginia, or a Dwell Style Interiors team member, will take photos and measurements.. We’ll view any inspiration images you might have gathered, and outline the initial strategy for your project.
The Design Plan
We will prepare a complete design plan based on the services we’ve agreed to enact and pull in all information gathered from our intensive consultation meeting. Virginia will present this design plan to you along with tangible paint, fabric, and other finish samples. We’ll refine this design plan together until it is absolutely aligned with what you want.
The Big Reveal
We will commence with ordering, curating, and scheduling all necessary elements for your project. When installation day arrives, Virginia will be onsite to oversee various tradespeople and orchestrate the placement and styling of your space. Once everything is complete, we will tour the space together to address any final adjustments.
Virginia is a joy to work with.
I asked her to redesign the upstairs of my home so that the whole family could have a more enjoyable time in the kids’ bedrooms. Some furniture got moved, but mostly the redesign required shopping for accessories and placement of decorative items, like lamps and wall art.
The reason this project was successful is because Virginia respected my desire for the children to not be playing and sleeping in a retail display. We made the most of what was already in the house before buying new things, and she connected decorative items that I didn't see before as having similar qualities. She made the most of my budget by checking in frequently while she was shopping, always purchasing things I approved of.
I felt great about the time and money spent making the kids rooms more thoughtful. They are really enjoying their "new" rooms, and so am I!
